The African Summit on Entrepreneurship and Innovation(ASENTI) in Kenya was an event that brought together over 200 young entrepreneurs, startups from , South Africa, Botswana, Malawi, Nigeria, Ghana,, Tanzania, Benin, Uganda, Southern Sudan, Ethiopia, Philippine and USA, The event Entailed a full day intensive leadership and entrepreneurial skills development summit with diverse speakers from across, Mobile technology, Investment, real estate, incubations, energy, agribusiness, media, marketing and Finance industries.
The summit was officially opened by Dr. Chris Kirubi, the Chairman of Centum and officially closed by Dr. Manu Chandaria Chairman of Comcraft. The summit had exception delegates from different industries and hence brought a great blend of value networking. The essence of ASENTI is to create a value platform for all our delegates to learn, network, meet potential clients both locally and internationally. The theme was "Africa rethinking Innovation".
ASENTI had over 200 applicants from across Africa for the annual Asenti awards, Three business came out the best from the ten different businesses that had an opportunity to pitch. The winners were from Energy, Health and Environment sector.
ASENTI 2015 main focus was on Innovation, character building, Ethics, Good Corporate Governance, Entrepreneurship and Financial Management, technology, startups. Asenti2015 partnered with CHASEBANK, CYTONN INVESTMENT, OPTIVEN, IHUB, USIU-Africa, CMCF, ACCA, LAPID LEADERS and many others.
